Joy Ride Tech Co., Ltd was originally founded in Nan-Gang Industrial Park in Nantou Taiwan in 2002. Before the establishment of the company, it was an R&D department in Southern Cross International Co., Ltd, which specialized in the research and development of electric vehicles. In order to realize the constant change of technology and innovation, and to help the growth of the company, Southern Cross International Co., Ltd separated out its electric vehicle R&D department and set up Joy Ride Tech. This gives Joy Ride Tech the ability to concentrate and specialize in developing and producing innovative and quality electric vehicles. Today, Joy Ride Tech has successfully developed and marketed many kinds of electric vehicles especially mobility scooters and e-bikes around the world.

Joy Ride Tech has one of the best electric vehicles R&D team in Taiwan. Joy Ride Tech not only is capable of design and produce quality electric vehicles, it is capable of making products to customers’ need, such as OEM orders. Other than assembling electric vehicles, Joy Ride Tech also has superior motor design, electronic integration for electric vehicles, controller, and vehicle modeling and sample making R&D capability. Joy Ride Tech will not only deliver their customers with electric vehicles, it can also give them what they need even if it is just part or a system of the whole vehicle. Joy Ride Tech will continue its effort in R&D to further improve its products and also its technology capability.

Today, electric mobility scooters are one of the best selling products in Joy Ride Tech. All electric mobility scooters produced by Joy Ride Tech were the hard work of its R&D, assembly, and quality control team. Before a scooter is sold to the market, it will have go through a series of server quality control procedures; such as uphill and downhill test, electromagnetic automatic breaking system test, obstacle passing test, anti-tipping test, speed test, test drive through rugged and slippery surface, and all kinds of electronic tests just to ensure what customers brought will be the best in the market. Joy Ride Tech designed all its electric scooters with user friendliness, easy to control and operates in mind in order to better assist people who have mobility difficulties. With all these in mind, Joy Ride Tech electric scooters have gained certification and approval from FDA, ANSI, and CE. All these are proof of unbeatable quality products that Joy Ride Tech can provide to its customers.

Except for the mobility scooters, it has devoted itself exclusively to R&D brushless motors with strong power (400 watt to 750 watt), high quality, small size (diameter: 152mm, thickness: 130mm), less weight (＜5kg) and noise free. After hard working for years, it achieves the goal. All staff of Joy Ride Tech believe that their brushless motors are second to none. It has set up the brushless motors in its e-bikes. Compared with many electric bikes, they are not only stylish but also efficient and safe. Now Joy Ride’s brilliant products have been exported to New Zealand, Japan, Italy, US, etc.
